SC Home repair Program
SC UpLift Community Outreach receives state funding in order to provide owner-occupied home repair services. Roof and HVAC replacement, repair, or new installations will address health, safety, and sanitary issues to the home.

To be eligible, a beneficiary must meet the following:
A person or household that is 80% or below the area median income for the county in which they reside may be eligible for services.
Home must be the primary residence for the person requesting services as evidence of a recorded deed or life estate.
Manufactured housing/mobile homes are permitted. Manufactured housing/mobile homes must have been built within twenty (25) years of the date of the application.
The beneficiary must own the manufactured housing/mobile home and must have a deed to the land and title or proof of ownership of the home. Proof of ownership of the mobile home must include one or more of the following documents: Title from the Department of Motor Vehicles; Property tax bill from the most recent tax year which specifically includes the mobile home; and/or a mortgage statement or sales contract for the mobile home.
