Builders Industry Association of Central South Carolina awarded the 1st Gold Certified Universal Living Home in South Carolina

[SC Uplift Community Outreach]SC Uplift today announced that they have received the 1st Gold Certification in the state of South Carolina for Universal Living Homes. This milestone is a major move for SC Uplift on its mission to be an integral part of communities in SC 

“We are honored and incredibly pleased to receive the 1st Gold Certified Universal Living Home in the state of South Carolina!  In the 12 years we have been in existence we have awarded more than 4 million dollars in rehabs across the state and partnered with several different organizations.  Our mission is to help individuals and families as they seek to improve their quality of life,” says Kevin Wimberly, Founder/CEO at SC Uplift Community Outreach. 

This news comes in the wake of many recent initiatives and accomplishments of the company, including:

  • The Town of Summerton and AARP Tiny Home project 
  • Recently built new home in the Bluff Estates community
  • Several rehabs within multiple communities around Columbia with the addition off Telehealth services and Aging in Place amenities 

Our goal as an organization is to improve the communities of South Carolina and ensure that the individuals and families in them have safe, secure, and affordable housing.
